The LED light is designed for operation in open luminaires: the heat generated by the light during operation can therefore be emitted into the surroundings. The service life prognosis is based on this mode of operation. The service life is reduced by insufficient cooling when used in enclosed luminaires. Allow the light to cool down completely before changing it and switch off the power supply voltage. Damaged lights should be replaced immediately. No liability shall be assumed for damage caused by incorrect use. Some dimmers can impair the function of the light (flickering, noise).
Mixed operation, i.e. the simultaneous operation of LED bulbs and standard incandescent bulbs or LED bulbs of different types on one dimmer cable, is not possible. If noises are heard with dimmers that were not noticed with incandescent bulbs: Dimmer is not suitable for LED bulbs and can develop a fault. Dimmers integrated into the power cable require a separate on/off switch since they may not be able to regulate right down to 0.
Note the dimmer's minimum load, otherwise it may not switch on or it may control the light incorrectly. Simple dimmers usually work from 60W to 400W. For dimmers that have a basic brightness setting, this must be set high enough otherwise the LED bulb may not switch on. Dim slowly and evenly. Incorrect dimmers can permanently damage lighting.
