Note for Consumers

Tip for perfect preparation: the amount of coffee powder depends on the funnel insert, the amount of water and the size of the water container. The strength of the coffee or espresso can be varied with more or less water or espresso powder.

Cleaning the espresso pot: the lower part of the espresso maker (water reservoir) as well as the strainer insert are dishwasher safe, but hand washing can extend the life of the espresso maker. Wash the upper part with handle and lid by hand.

The handle must not come into contact with naked flames or be exposed to similar intense heat. In normal use, the anti-scald handle does not get hot.

Heating the espresso maker too quickly and to too high a temperature can cause it to tarnish and discolour. This is completely normal, however, and also happens with other similar espresso makers. With this stubborn discolouration, a descaling agent and then a stainless steel cleaner can help restore your espresso maker to its original shine after cleaning.
